Evidence for Brazil}, volume={72}, url={https://revista.enap.gov.br/index.php/RSP/article/view/5617}, abstractNote={<p>The objective of this study is to verify whether productive microcredit resources are better used by women in terms of employability, using data from a Brazilian microcredit program. We analyze the differential impact both on overall employment generation and on female employment according to the entrepreneur’s gender, using dose-response models (with propensity score matching and continuous treatment). In addition, we consider the differential cost of loans for these groups, culminating in a cost-effectiveness analysis. We show that loans for women are a more effective choice compared to loans for men, especially for increasing female employability. The results were significant and corroborate the findings in empirical literature. They were the basis for the creation of a microcredit line targeting women in Brazil.</p>}, number={b}, journal={Revista do Serviço Público}, author={Rocha de Pauli, Dayane}, year={2021}, month={dez.}, pages={58 - 87} }
