Abstract

The public sector is under pressure to improve the quality of services and the productivity of servers.
Sharing knowledge has proven to be an effective strategy to achieve these goals, but there are challenges due to the characteristics of the sector. To contribute to the advancement in this field of research, this systematic review was developed to verify the variables that influence the sharing of knowledge in public sector organizations. Articles were retrieved from the interdisciplinary databases Scielo, Web of Science and Scopus between 2015 and 2022. The final sample included 24 articles. The results show that the sharing of knowledge is influenced by individual variables, such as trust and commitment; organizational variables, such as leadership, and to a lesser extent, technology-related variables.
