Focus and Scope
To disseminate knowledge and foster reflection and debate, supporting the professional development of public servants, strengthening their commitment to citizenship, and consolidating a community of practitioners, experts, and individuals interested in public policy and government management.
Mission
To promote the dissemination of knowledge, encourage critical reflection and qualified debate on public policies and government management, contributing to the development of public servants, strengthening their commitment to citizenship, and consolidating a community of professionals, experts, and scholars dedicated to public administration.
Objectives
- To promote, encourage, and host research and the dissemination of studies on topics relevant to public administration and the management of government policies;
- To encourage the production of knowledge aimed at enhancing the capacity for policy formulation and implementation, governance, and management across all levels of public administration;
- To disseminate concepts, methodologies, and best practices within the public sector.
Thematic Areas
RSP publishes articles on the following themes: Government Management and Public Policies.
Target Audience
Federal, state, and municipal public servants; public sector professionals in a broad sense; academics; specialists; researchers; practitioners; and others interested in discussing public policies and government management.
Publication Frequency and Article Publication
The Revista do Serviço Público (RSP), published by the National School of Public Administration (Enap), has adopted a continuous publication model as of Issue 77(2), published in 2026.
RSP publishes, on average, 28 to 36 research articles annually.
RSP does not charge submission fees, article processing charges (APCs), or publication fees.
