Editorial Policy
Desk Review, Double-Blind Review Process, and Dispute Resolution
Articles submitted to RSP undergo an admission review (desk review) for a preliminary suitability assessment by the journal's editorial team. Some aspects evaluated at this stage include: the suitability of the article's topic to the journal's focus, the quality of the text, the theoretical-empirical balance, the contribution to the advancement of the subject area, and whether RSP's submission guidelines were strictly followed. No details about this decision are provided for articles rejected at this stage.
Articles approved in the desk review are forwarded for evaluation by two to three reviewers, who are specialists in the article's subject matter chosen based on recognized expertise. The evaluation system used is double-blind review: the author will not know who the reviewers are, nor will the reviewers know who the author is.
This analysis may result in:
- acceptance of the article;
- acceptance conditional on mandatory corrections;
- rejection (with or without a suggestion to resubmit after modifications).
In the event of a dispute, that is, when an article is approved by one reviewer and rejected by another, the case will be arbitrated by a third reviewer and/or by the RSP's Editor-in-Chief.
In the case of resubmission after rejection, the article will return to the beginning of the editorial process. The reviewers for the new version will not necessarily be the same as those for the previous version.

By submitting to RSP, authors affirm and attest that the work does not contain any violation of any copyright or other third-party right, and that they accept the Journal's Declaration of Responsibility and Copyright, as stated in the submission form.
